Novomatic Gaming UK has reinforced its backing for one of the bastions on the UK industry calendar, confirming its decision to extend its role as headline sponsor of the iconic Park Avenue Open Day which takes place on 5 June 2024.
It’s one of the long held traditions of the UK amusements and gaming industry, Park Avenue Open Day – the sector’s very own summer solstice – hits the capital once again on Wednesday 5 June.
Hosted by Electrocoin and UDC, the streets and showrooms that once formed the centre-point for the domestic industry’s top manufacturers and distributors, will welcome several hundred visitors to London for a day of products, food and networking.
Signing up as the leading supporter for a second successive year are Novomatic Gaming UK who confirmed they were “thrilled to be the headline sponsor at this year’s showcase”, placing huge import on an event which “provides a valuable opportunity for informal networking and reflection for the gaming industry”.
Kevin Temple, Director of Sales at NGUK, was in no doubt what the Open Day delivers to the amusements and gaming business. Confirming the sponsorship, he said: “We are delighted and proud to be the headline sponsor for the celebrated Park Avenue Open Day on the 5th of June 2024. This iconic event hosted by Electrocoin and UDC is an integral part of the amusement calendar, and we really value this partnership. It’s a viewpoint shared across the industry, not just for its status as a historical gaming industry event on the calendar, but also the support it draws from many other sponsoring companies, all keen to keep the tradition alive
Electrocoin’s John A. Stergides, who plays a central role in organising the day, was looking forward to the gathering. “We are very excited about hosting the much anticipated Park Avenue Open Day this year. Electrocoin will once again be supporting the BACTA Charitable Trust during the event – which is the biggest trade gathering of the summer months. All proceeds raised from the companies participating and those on the day via raffles, are donated to the Bacta Charitable Trust.”
