“It’s the first show of the year and one of the most important”: Electrocoin impresses at EAG with a wide-range of popular releases
The team at Electrocoin were certainly kept busy at EAG this year, with a selection of fresh products that build on successful existing titles joining novel new releases to attract a constant crowd of customers. Speaking to Coinslot, sales and marketing manager John A Stergides used typical understatement when he said “it’s been a very positive response.”
There was truly something for everyone on Electrocoin’s stand at EAG this year, from pinballs, pushers, cranes and games, to dance machines and cashless solutions, as the supplier presented a smorgasbord of new and established products. EAG 2025 Electrocoin
However, despite the myriad selection of products on display, Electrocoin showed no signs of prioritising quantity over quality, with sales and marketing manager John A Stergides telling Coinslot “we do what we do to the best of our ability.”
“It’s been a very positive response to our new products and existing lines, from both the domestic and international market,” said Stergides. “It’s the first show of the year and one of the most important, and it’s an opportunity to showcase all the products we produce and distribute.”
“We try to have a little bit of everything, but we try to do what we do to the best of our ability, to make sure it’s the best for the customer. For instance, we have one dance machine, the Konami DDR20 Plus, but it is the king of dance machines. Nobody beats Konami’s manufacturing.”
In fact, the machine was in near-constant use during the show, with Stergides adding “everyone loves it.” The interest in Stern’s new Dungeons and Dragons pinball was also extremely high, with “a lot of enthusiasm and people enjoying the game.”
Mr Do’s Football Frenzy, a fresh sports-themed title which takes the enduring Mr Do Air Balls “up a notch” was also popular, alongside Magic Egg and Spinning Cyclone, while the Fun Time Double Crane was already “doing incredibly,” thanks to an innovative monitor which shows customers live footage of themselves playing the game.
The Bar-X Ticket Diamond Redemption, which narrowly missed debuting at EAG 2024, also attracted plenty of interest at this year’s show, with the brand “as strong today as it was 20 years ago.”
With all these featuring alongside a new compendium of games from Ace Gaming’s Hot Slots, the Galileo machine management solution and cashless InterCard system, Stergides was understandably confident about the year ahead.
“You always have to look forward, you always have to be developing new products otherwise you stagnate,” said Stergides.
“We know there are going to be some difficulties, but we’ll continue to innovate and come out of it stronger, as we always try to do. It’s not the first time, and it won’t be the last.”
