With ACOS returning for a fourth time to Chelsea FC this year, veteran industry figure John Stergides, managing director of Electrocoin, understands all too well the value of the autumn showcase: “It is excellent timing for the upcoming season. Due to the smaller scale, everyone’s within eye catching distance and it is a more relaxing show. ACOS is also more compact since it does not have wide corridors like those at the EAG.” Electrocoin will be taking the opportunity at the exhibition to demonstrate some of the most popular offerings in their gaming stable, which have spelled a successful year for the company: “It has been our best summer in part due to the products which will be shown at ACOS,” said Stergides. “We expect the momentum to continue as we will
also be showing a new dance machine from Konami.” The London-based machine developer will also use the gathering to build on this year’s achievements, and demonstrate the future products
available from the company: “In addition to the new dancing game from Konami, we are expecting our redemption portfolio to grow in 2018 along with our Cat C digital product, Monte Carlo and
our traditional analogue machines.” However, for the Electrocoin team, ACOS will be more than just a chance to showcase their catalogue. The company is also keen to use the event to discuss the
issues impacting the industry. Referencing topics for discussion, Stergides outlined the chance to review “the debate on the DCMS consultation paper along with Jeremy Corbyn’s £2 stake limit recommendation on the FOBT.” But that’s clearly not all that will be on the Stergides agenda, as he cheekily concluded: “The other hot talking points will be GoGo Chickens multi-function redemption and prize vend feature, the long overdue Konami Dance game and the Elektra!”
