Electrocoin announce Heavy Metal pinball by Stern and Incendium

Electrocoin has announced the release of a pinball machine based on the illustrated magazine Heavy Metal, which is the latest collaboration between Incendium and pinball manufacturer Stern.

The release of Heavy Metal pinball marks the second time the two companies have worked together, the first producing Iron Maiden, which was recently voted the best Pinball in a recent online poll by Stern.

“The original art created for the Heavy Metal pinball machine pays tribute to characters and worlds from the magazine’s storied history,” commented Electrocoin John Stergides.

“It is an exciting addition to the Stern Pinball portfolio and adds to the current available Rockin ‘N’ Rolling music theme pinballs along with the recently announced Led Zeppelin and the collectors Beatles Editions.”

The pinball machine commemorates the 300th issue of Heavy Metal, which has been running since 1977 and inspired the 1981 animated movie of the same name. It is a Limited-edition pinball machine, built to order and included with every machine will be an exclusive variant cover edition of issue 300.
