With an already sizeable presence in the Cat C market, Electrocoin is continuing to update its field-proven games offering with a string of updates and new releases.
Electrocoin has been producing Cat C digital products for more than twelve years now, initially using the Bar X brand and a digital version of a number of previously successful analogue games as the core of the games package.
As Cat C digital product continued to grow in popularity, the company took a decision that all of its games should be unique and should not appear as a replicated version of another manufacturer’s game. Electrocoin’s Kevin Weir pointed out: “With the current popularity of the Monte Carlo concept continuing to grow, this appears to be the correct decision. One of the first questions that operators ask is about the content, as they understand that they need variety on site and this applies across the pub, arcade and bingo sectors. Players are very switched on and see through games that pretend to be something that they are not. As a result, our unique content has been warmly welcomed.”
Weir added “There are now in excess of 20 games in the library with up to 18 available to the player at any one time. The library will continue to grow year upon year. At present there is a mix of multi reel/multi line games such as Pick O’ the Leprechaun and Bar X Gold, as well new hi-tec games in the form of Ghost Train and some mid tech favourites such as Bank Vault Ten or Ton. We have also recently added some back-catalogue favourites from the X Games compendium such as Magic 10 and Lucky 7s. In addition, we previewed two new games at EAG and ICE, Wild Rover and Clambusters, both totally new concepts. These were given a big thumbs up by customers across all sectors and we eagerly await the players response in the coming weeks, when the games are released to market.”
The Monte Carlo package of games is available in the brand new all steel Elektra cabinet as well as a conversion option, using the Eclipse cabinet. Both appear to be proving popular as pointed out by Weir.
“The presence created by the new Elektra cabinet caused quite a stir and has proven popular across all types of venue, however, the interest in the Gemstar conversion in the Eclipse cabinet has proven very popular with pub operators who can extend the life of their old analogue product. The game content is the same in both cabinets and all are available with a TITO option.”
