Bacta Charitable Trust confirms new official charities

Bacta recently celebrated a reception at Parliament on 6 February to announce its support for four worthy children’s charities including: Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Teenage Cancer Trust, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Rays of Sunshine.

The Bacta charitable trust has raised over £3 million since 1991 to aid in the support of ill children. The trust has now reaffirmed its support for children’s charities by committing its support throughout 2019.

At the parliamentary event, hosted by Sir Roger Gale MP for North Thanet, The Trust’s new beneficiaries were introduced to association members and guest parliamentarians including Sir Roger Gale, MP for North Thanet, Carolyn Harris, MP for Swansea East, and Nigel Huddleston MP for Mid Worcestershire & PPS at DCMS.

Bacta CEO John White and President Gabi Stergides took the opportunity to talk through the importance of giving back to community.
