The Electrocoin-organised Beatles pinball pop up shop in London has seen a strong opening weekend.

The limited-time placement – organised by the company in conjunction with the Brunswick Shopping Centre – is being held to celebrate the release of the Beatles-licensed units from
Stern Pinball.

The installations are being exclusively distributed in the UK by Electrocoin and those who visit the pop up shop will be among the first in the country to preview the machines. The licensing of
the unit itself has been close to a decade in the making and marks a high point in pinball’s resurgence within the market.

Electrocoin’s John Anthony Stergides commented: “It’s just something completely different we have tried to do to showcase pinball and share it with the world.”

Designed to cater to both pinball enthusiasts and the casual consumer the unit features a more accessible gameplay model with mass market appeal in mind.

This combined with the iconic licence led a wide array of visitors to the shop during its opening weekend added Stergides, with a number of keen players travelling from far and wide to get a preview of the highlyanticipated release.

David Smith, spokesperson for The Brunswick Centre, commented: “Getting these highly exclusive Beatles pinball machines into the centre and freely available to play is such a coup and adds to the experience. Whether to entertain the children, provide a break for the adults or simply for devoted Beatles fans to enjoy another hit song, we’re sure the pop up store experience will bring a smile to many shoppers.”

The store is open seven days a week up until 6pm Wednesday 12th December 2018.
