It’s another powerful performance at an IAAPA expo for Electrocoin with the leading machines distributor getting the green light on all its offerings in Amsterdam last week.
Electrocoin have exhibited at many IAAPA Europe expos, but this one was a biggie. “It was a very busy show,” observed John A. Stergides, Electrocoin’s Sales & Marketing Manager, and one that brought considerable footfall to the stand.
“We had a really good range on display and there were many highlights from our portfolio. In particular, the stand out attractions were the new Spinning Cyclone and the Konami DDRA20 Plus games. These really caught the eye,” he explained.
This interest will surprise few: Electrocoin has built a strong foot-hold in the European market over the decades and that was clearly evident during the course of last week. “There was a very good response,” Stergides reported, “and it was good to see some UK visitors in Amsterdam. But IAAPA Europe is mostly international and they were there in record numbers this year.”
Stergides jnr, and not least the main man Stergides snr, have a good sense of the European marketplace – and this year prize games and a lot of dancing were the order of play.
“The visitors were very excited with our numerous eclectic offerings – we had ticket redemption, prize games, and of course, you can’t do a show without a dance machine.”
And that dance machine is a main attraction at virtually every show and venue it goes to. “The Konami DDRA20 is a major attraction – wherever it is, it pulls in the people,” observed Stergides. “Amsterdam was fixed on the machine throughout the show.”
And Amsterdam was fixed on the exhibition too; it punched in all the new numbers, and they added up to a record show in terms of both exhibitors and visitors.
“IAAPA Europe is very important for our business.” Stergides explained. “It’s an opportunity to meet with clients after the summer season, but also ones you don’t see as regularly if they are based abroad. The show is growing every year and the change of location is a big plus as it can bring people and an exchange of new ideas, allowing us to further expand the world of play.”
It’s also an important launch-pad for what is going to be a vital expo schedule ahead of the 2025 season. With ACOS and EAG coming up on the itinerary, Stergides was confident that IAAPA has set the Electrocoin stall out pretty well.
“We are always innovating and will have a number of new products between now and EAG. And of course, we will also be showing our current successful range which are always being improved and looking forward to the next outing in London in a few weeks time
