ICE ’24 Review

Building on one of the industry’s strongest brands, Electrocoin launched Bar-X Diamond Tickets on its busy ICE ’24 stand this week, which also showcased a refurbished version of the popular Bar-X 7, the latest Bar-X tablet system, and a range of cabinets featuring the latest compendium from Ace Gaming, Hot Slots – as well as a range of exciting amusements that kept the expo crowds highly entertained.

Electrocoin launched Bar-X Diamond Tickets at this week’s ICE 2024, taking orders on a stand that was buzzing with excitement from start to finish.

Hoops Mania, Rocket Launch, Spinning Cyclone, Magic 7 Key and Jaws from Stern Pinball provided amusement for the expo crowd, while a refurbished Bar-X 7, the latest Bar-X tablet system, and a range of cabinets featuring the latest compendium from Ace Gaming, Hot Slots, attracted a lot of attention from AGC operators. The product with the largest profile, however, was Bar-X Diamond Tickets, a new three-player redemption that is stirring up a lot of interest.

“We’ve been working closely with the developers to give it that feel of the BarX, but with a new twist,” explained Electrocoin’s John A. Stergides. “We’ve already taken orders from operators who are excited to present it to their players. It’s perfect for locations with ticket redemption.”

The Bar-X brand was also on offer in the latest Bar-X tablet system with a roulette compendium, as well as in the form of a refurbished Bar-X 7, which still retains a fiercely loyal following.

“This is over 20 years old, but we’ve given it a new lease of life,” continued Stergides. “The old Cat C legacy software is incredibly popular, and operators are seeing the demand to keep the machines going for another 10-15 years. There’s still a very loyal following.”

Also on offer for AGC operators was the latest Cat C/B4 compendium from Ace Gaming, Hot Slots. It is available in a brand new cabinet with two 27 inch screens, or as a kit to bring a new look to old G-Squared cabinets. The compendium contains more than 20 games, and comes with no ongoing content fees.

Overall, ICE 2024 – the last one on Electrocoin’s home turf – proved a success for the company, which once again provided a strong representation of the coin-op industry’s long standing reputation for innovation.
