Electrocoin make big plans for IAAPA Europe 2021
Electrocoin will be making its first expo outing in 19 months when it heads to Barcelona on 28-30 September for IAAPA Europe 2021. The first industry gathering for the international amusements and leisure sector since the grip of Covid loosened, the UK distributor will be assuming a high profile at the Fira Barcelona taking its largest ever stand at the European expo.
“Excited” was probably an understatement from Electrocoin as they discussed the exhibition roster at this year’s IAAPA Europe; the mood of anticipation is sky high at the west London operation. John A Stergides told Coinslot: “We are excited to be exhibiting at the European show. It will be the first in our industry since the pandemic eased and we are looking forward to catching up with suppliers and operators.”
And that enthusiasm is stretching across the continent with IAPPA attracting 446 exhibitors to the show this year. And for Electrocoin, it’s a trip worth taking. “It’s our biggest stand at IAAPA Europe 2021 since we began exhibiting, as we expect it to be buzzing as the leisure industry eagerly looks forward to the first show in over 18 months, and for some two years.”
The Electrocoin presence will be dominated by its top line product portfolio with Skill Cut Winner leading the way – and in four different colours.
“Their popularity is growing in the UK, Middle East and Europe,” Stergides explained. “It’s down to their reliability, ROI, presentation and unique features which make it stand out. There’s also been an upward trend with travelling showmen and fun fairs across Europe filling up trailers with Skill Cut Winners.”
Sharing top billing on the stand will undoubtedly be pinball, a product range that’s become synonymous with Electrocoin over the years and one that has been courting strong interest from the European market. Stergides confirmed: “We’ll obviously have an exciting line up of Stern Pinballs on our stand including their latest titles. And we expect to display their latest cornerstone title as well.”
Also heading over to Barcelona will be Drop a Winner Deluxe with the Prize capsule/ball vending machine to be unveiled to the European market in all its skill with optional ticket redemption and prize every time glory.
Alongside will be Space Shooter, another Prize capsule/ball vending machine, and GoGo Chicken which has drawn a lot of attention from UK resorts this summer. “This has proven to be very popular with operators especially those with soft play areas or sites with outdoor activities like farms and zoos,” Stergides explained. “It allows operators to use 50mm capsule up to 100mm.”
