Increase in demand for Electrocoin ticket solutions

When Electrocoin discussed the customer uptake of its ticket eaters this time last year, the company reported steady growth in the sales of both Galileo ticket eaters and its POS support systems. When pressed on the topic again this year the response from John A Stergides was an enthusiastic one.
“We have seen an earlier start to the season this year, however the enquiries and accompanying sales have not only exceeded last year but also our best expectations. The trend toward increased ticket redemption seems to be growing year on year and shows no sign of letting up,” he said.
This increased importance of redemption has also seen the popularity of Elmac’s range of ticket payout and management systems continues to grow due to the proven reliability and performance of the system.
Stergides added: “Our ticket eaters have an excellent reputation and over the years the product has evolved far more than the competition. The vast majority of customers have upgraded their eaters to the latest Galileo Pro version with enhanced sounds, making the interactive experience fun for the players.”
He added that there has also been a growth in demand for the company’s double eater, the EVO, and in sales for the Galileo management POS system, which can also be linked to the eaters of the same name.
The rise of redemption payouts has also led to growth in sales of the company’s retrofit Winkiddy ticketing solution as operators becoming increasingly imaginative as to where they can add value to their existing products.
